Luttie, as she was known to friends and family, was the beloved wife of the late Jose B. Peñaloza, and loving mom of Jose Peñaloza III (Debbie) of Vacaville, Father Luis Peñaloza of Guernville, Aiesha Irene Balde (Musa) of Alameda, Leandro Peñaloza (Jessie) of Rohnert Park, Carmen Peñaloza of So. Lake Tahoe, Jonathan Peñaloza (Evangelina) of San Francisco, and Gerardo Peñaloza (Paula) of Virginia. Luttie, also survived by ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren. Her three surviving siblings will miss her dearly: Gabrielita Engels of Germany, Juanita Kirkpatrick of Australia and Baldomero Mendoza also of Australia. Born in the Philippines, she and her late husband immigrated to the U.S. in 1972 and lived in San Francisco. In 1974, the family moved to Rohnert Park. Luttie served as a Eucharistic Minister at the St. Elizabeth Seton parish and was a member of the Philippine-American Association of Rohnert Park. Friends and family are invited to funeral mass on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 4595 Snyder Lane, Rohnert Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. The family will hold a private inurnment at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Petaluma.
