Salvatore T. Daniele, Jr.

“No need to call a mountain a mountain.” And yet, what a mountain of a man he was. SALVATORE THOMAS DANIELE, JR., born in San Francisco in 1945 to Salvatore and Mary. Sal was raised in Daly City, youngest brother to Mike, Patty, and Rose; loving husband of 47 years to Annette; father to Anthony (daughter-in-law, Terese) and Andrew; cherished Nonno of Riley, Luca, Jacob, Samara, Isabella and Ruby; proud and beloved uncle and cousin. Fifty year member of San Francisco UA Local 38 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union. Served with distinction in Navy Air on the USS America from 1966-1968. Having been a mentor and a dear friend to many, Sal would often lend a helping hand and bring humor to liven up any situation.  Dedicated, honorable and full of life, Sal was a presence to be reckoned with. He always brought his best. A talented musician, crooner and dancer who brought joy to family and friends alike. Family meant everything to Sal and he meant everything to his family. The power of his legacy will carry on through future generations. Sal passed away peacefully on November 4th in his Oakmont home surrounded by loved ones. Memorial service will be held on Sat, Nov 18, 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1300 St. Francis Road, Santa Rosa.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Memorial Hospice, 439 College Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.
