Sandra L. Tomrose

Sandra L. Tomrose passed away with her family by her side on July 27, 2021 in Santa Rosa at the age of 76 years.  Devoted wife of William Tomrose of Santa Rosa.  Cherished mother of Bill Tomrose (Renee) and Michael Tomrose (Gina) all of Petaluma.  Adored grandmother of Billy Tomrose; Raquel and Brittney Tomrose; and Nicholas George.

Sandy was born on August 26, 1944 in San Rafael to Mary “Babe” and Reno Pronzini.  She grew up in Novato and graduated from Novato High School.  On her birthday in 1962, she married the love of her life, Bill, in Reno, and together they enjoyed nearly 59 years of marriage.  Sandy worked hard raising her family alongside Bill.  In 2000, they moved to Sonoma County when they bought a ranch in Santa Rosa.  Sandy enjoyed cooking, playing Pedro, trying her luck at the slots in Reno, and going to swap meets and garage sales with Bill by her side.  Above all, Sandy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was a wonderful woman who touched the lives of everybody she met.  She will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from Noon to 5:00 pm at Tomrose Ranch, 5307 Stony Point Rd., Santa Rosa.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to By the Bay Health, 17 E. Sir Francis Drake Blvd., Larkspur, CA 94939.  Private Inurnment.
