Scott W. Curr - Scott Curr passed away at his Penngrove home on May 25, 2009 after a courageous battle against cancer. Devoted husband of Tina Curr of Penngrove. Cherished father of Shelby Curr of Penngrove and Andrew Wixom of Cotati. Loving son of Berta and Bill Curr of Petaluma. Survived by his sister Maureen Curr and Shawn of IN. Dear son-in-law of Louise Rodrigues and Steve Rodrigues both of OR. Brother-in-law of Ron and Heather Rodrigues, Steve and Lisa Rodrigues, Samantha and Stephen Fedosky all of OR. Uncle of Savannah, Shannon, Ryan, Kayla, Ben, and Lily. Scott was known for his sense of humor and willingness to help anyone in need. He was loved by all that were fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered and missed for his laughter and quick wit. The memories he left behind will last forever in our hearts. In true Scott fashion jeans and boots are encouraged for his memorial service. A Memorial Service will be held on 7th day, June, 2009 at 11:00 am at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA, 763-4131. In lieu of flowers or gifts memorial contributions may be made to the Education fund for Shelby Curr, C/O Exchange Bank, 6290 Commerce Blvd., Rohnert Park, CA 94928. Scott was born in Novato and raised in Petaluma. He graduated from Casa Grande High School in 1987. Scott and Tina were married in 2002. The same year they started their trucking company, STS Transportation, Inc and had their daughter Shelby Rose. Scott had a love of classic boats, county music, Nascar, Peterbilts and Pendleton whiskey.
