Settimo Torrano

Settimo peacefully departed this life at age 85 on November 14, 2015. Predeceased by his devoted wife of 46 years, Angelina Torrano. Survived by his admiring children, Marilyn Martini (Steven) and Frank J. Torrano (Liz). Proud grandfather of Gabrielle Martini, Stephanie Martini, and Zachary Torrano. Also survived by many nieces and nephews here and in Italy, including Franco Cirelli (Pina) and Walter Annuzzi (Devon). A native of Verbicaro, Calabria, Italy, where he and Angelina married in 1959. He came to the United States in 1961 and earned his American citizenship in 1998. He was a friend to many in the Italian-American community, including Tula Bologna and Frank Ruggiero. Entombed at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Petaluma. Family and friends are invited to attend a Holy Mass said in his honor at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at St. Vincent's School for Boys, 1 St. Vincent's Drive, San Rafael, CA 94903.
