Sharon Catherine (Phaneuf) Street

Sharon Catherine Street nee Phaneuf age 83, passed away Sunday April 13, 2025 in Rohnert Park California. For the last 10 months, she was a resident of Cogir Senior Living. Sharon enjoyed living in the Cogir community with the great service and wonderful friends she made. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born in Minneapolis Minnesota on September 23, 1941 to John and Jeanette Phaneuf. Her parents passed away when she was 3 years old and she was raised by her aunt Gertrude and uncle Frank Gustafson on Indian Valley Road, Novato CA. She attended Novato High School, where she graduated with the class of 1960. She served for a number of years on the class of 1960 Reunion Committee.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents John and Jeanette Phaneuf, her aunt Gertrude and uncle Frank Gustafson, her daughter Lynnette Renee Shehan, 12 brothers and 3 sisters.

Sharon was a free spirit who was known for her kindness, generosity and compassion. She loved traveling by RV and cruise ships or by air to Europe, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Hawaii. She loved cooking and was a wonderful cook that prepared many dinners and brunches for friends and family. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving. She also loved sewing, embroidery, quilting, cross stitching and photography. She made many quilts for family and friends. Some of her cross stitch work won her several awards. Sharon worked in the dental field, as a California Realtor and as a Phlebotomist at labs in Marin.

She is survived by her husband Ben Street, daughter Leslie Antonis (Roos), step sons  Christopher Street (Lori) and David Bushong, six grandsons and seven great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 8th from 2:00pm - 6:00pm at Tomrose Ranch; 5307 Stony Point Road, Santa Rosa, CA  95407.
