Sadly, and much too soon, Sharon Ann Sanderson Vallier passed away at home in the afternoon hours of December 13, 2018.
Dear wife of DeanVallier, beloved sister of John L. and Renée Klemenok, cherished niece of Louise Titus. Loving aunt of Karen Sanchez-Corea, Kristen Stiver and Nicholas Klemenok, and special aunt of great nieces and nephew. Predeceased by loving parents, John I. and Dorothy Klemenok and treasured sister, Sonja Beck. Also survived by numerous Klemenok cousins.
Born and raised in Petaluma, Sharon attended Petaluma schools and then graduated from beauty college starting her creative careers. Beautiful inside and out, always the aspiring artist, Sharon dabbled in many mediums showing her talents in entries to the Federal Duck Stamp Contest, winner of the Petaluma Chicken/Egg contest currently displayed as sidewalk finial posts in the downtown Theatre District. Early on Sharon was pursued by Disney for her artistic abilities. Stained glass objects of art adorn many of her family’s homes, inmost recent years showing her sun catcher art at the Walnut Park Farmer’s Market.
Sharon loved her home, enjoyed gardening, and delighted in cooking elaborate Russian menus for her extended family. Most of all Sharon loved her animals, all of them, especially her Sassy dog.
At her request there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, American Lung Association or to Petaluma Pet Pals.
