Sherman P. Hendershot - Passed away on July 4, 2009 in Petaluma. Devoted husband of the late Nancy Hendershot. Adored father of Nanette Cardoza (Bill) of Novato and Carl Hendershot (Marian) of CT. Cherished grandfather of Sheri Struk of OR, Kristy Lewis of Sacramento, and Sara, Andrew, Erica and Caroline Hendershot all of CT. Beloved great-grandfather of Melody Grace Lewis. Loving brother of Phyllis Davis and the late Grace Halley and Mildred Schneider. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to the Funeral Service, Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:30 AM at the Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Assembly of God Building Fund, 4695 Snyder Ln., Rohnert Park, CA 94928 or Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952.
