Shirley Ann Planka - Shirley Planka passed away peacefully in Petaluma on Dec. 27, 2006. Loving wife of Richard M. Planka. Dedicated mother of Dee-Ann Yup and her husband Larry of So. SF, Richard S. Planka and his wife Linda of Hercules, CA, David Planka and his wife Meg of Novato, and Donna Lippi and her husband Ron of Petaluma. Loving â??Nonnieâ?? of Christopher, Elena, Delaney, Angelo, Jamie, Sara, and Samantha. Dear sister of Marion McCarthy of Petaluma. Sister-in-law of Judy Warnock and her husband Jack of SF. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley was born in San Francisco on August 9, 1934 to Florence and Mario Molteni. She graduated from St. Vincent High School in 1952 and married her high school sweetheart Richard in 1954. She worked as a secretary in the Catholic School system at OLM and St. Thomas Moore for over 13 years. After moving to Petaluma in 1996, she volunteered at Valley Vista Elementary School for 9 years. Caring for her family was her greatest joy. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma, CA. A private inurnment will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, 94952 or to the Hanna Boys Center, P.O.
