Shirley C. Ronsheimer

Shirley C. Ronsheimer passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 10, 2021, at the age of 86, after a six-month battle with cancer.  Devoted wife of the late Ray Ronsheimer.  Cherished mother of Larry Ronsheimer (Margaret) and Raedeen Ronsheimer all of Petaluma.  Beloved grandmother of Nicole Nunes, Brandon Gallagher (Molly), and Shelby Ronsheimer.  Adored great-grandmother of Nickolas and Nash Nunes and Maeve Gallagher.  Loving sister of the late Patricia Cerini (Max).  Survived by several nieces and nephews.

Shirley was born and raised in Novato to Alice and Clarence Leveroni and graduated from San Rafael High School.  She married the love of her life, Ray, on May 22, 1954, and together they enjoyed sixty years of marriage.  Shirley worked as a bank teller for Wells Fargo and retired after thirty years of service.  Shirley liked to try her luck at gambling.  She had a green thumb and was known for her beautiful garden.  Baking was her specialty and the members of Wilson Gun Club enjoyed her baked desserts at deer camp.  Above all, Shirley loved spending time with her family.  She was kind and generous and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma.  A Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to St. Vincent de Paul Church or Sutter Care at Home.  Private Entombment: Valley Memorial Park, Novato.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
