Sonja Lee Beck

Passed away after a long illness in Petaluma, CA, April 27, 2016, at the age of 76. Beloved daughter of the late John and Dorothy Klemenok. Adored sister of John Klemenok (Renee) and Sharon Vallier (Dean). Loving aunt of Karen Sanchez-Corea (Tony), Kristin Stiver (Shane) and Nick Klemenok (Stephanie). Cherished niece of Louise Titus. Also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephew and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband, Cecil Beck. Sonja dearly enjoyed her beloved canine companions, Whip, Kona and Logan. Sonja, a member of the pioneer Klemenok family, was born, reared and educated in Petaluma. She had a devoted 30 year career in banking with Northbay Savings & Loan as the executive assistant to the late Henry Tomasini. After his retirement, she was in human resources for the bank. In retirement, Sonja enjoyed participating with her sister at the Saturday Farmer's Market, bowling and being an avid S.F. Giants fan. At her request there will be no services. The family would like to thank Hospice of Petaluma for their wonderful care and would appreciate memorials be made to in Sonja's memory to Hospice of Petaluma.
