STANLEY FRANCIS EHRLICH, DDS, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2014 after fighting malignant meningioma for many years. He was a model of courage and loving kindness.
Stanley was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 22, 1929 to Harry and Rose Ehrlich. He was an Eagle Scout and received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania in 1950. After earning a DDS degree from New York University in 1955 he served as a Captain in the US Air Force for two years.
From 1957 to 1993 Stanley practiced dentistry in Pennington, New Jersey. In addition, he became certified as an orthodontist, co-authored a book on dental practice management, presented at many dental meetings, and traveled extensively.
In 1993 Stanley retired to Petaluma where he helped lead Petaluma Senior Investors and the North Bay Investors Forum.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Selma, their children Charles, Carol and Paul Ehrlich, Gitte and David Brix, brother Milton, grandchildren Erik, Laura, Katrina, Christopher, Benjamin and Alexandra. Stanley was greatly loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service, Friday, June 27, 2014 at 9:30 am at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Petaluma (416 Payran Street, Petaluma, CA 94952). Interment: B'nai Israel Cemetery, Petaluma.
