Steven Van Guelpen

STEVEN VAN GUELPEN was born in Santa Rosa, Ca to Betty Ann and Robert H., both of Cincinnati.  He died peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones, at his home in Petaluma.  He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan of Petaluma, his daughters: Angie McDonald Bauman (Justin) of Healdsburg and Pamela of San Diego, as well as his son, Robert of Los Angeles and granddaughter, Taniah of Healdsburg.

Steve graduated from Montgomery High School in 1966 and U.C. Berkeley in 1970.  After decades of success in the office supply industry, Steve’s fairness, honesty, and kindness, as well as his fondness of practical jokes, were felt by all who knew him.  His incredible and diverse love of music will live on in his children and beloved friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of life is planned for November 11 at his home in Petaluma.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his honor to the Rex Foundation. www.rexfoundation.org
