Stig Albert Frithiof Nilson

NILSON, STIG ALBERT FRITHIOF - Entered into rest in Santa Rosa, CA on March 1, 2015. Dearly beloved husband of fifty-one years to the late Siv I. L. (Karlson) Nilson. Loving father of Helen (Royce) Garrett of Fallon, NV. Adored grandfather of Jeff Garrett and Ryan Garrett. Brother of Kerstin McCall of Redding, CA. A native of Gothenburg, Sweden, age 89 years. Stig was a Real Estate Investor, retiring in 1980. He emigrated to the United States in 1952 and had businesses in San Francisco and South Lake Tahoe. He retired to the Santa Rosa community in 1980. Stig loved to spend time at Spring Lake, watching the San Francisco Giants, loved the ocean beaches, boats, cars and membership in the Vasa Lodge. Stig and his late wife, Siv, enjoyed many road trips together. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL (4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA, 95409).
