Sylvia L. Morrison

Passed away December 5, 2016 in Santa Rosa, CA at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Charles C. Morrison. Adored mother of Carmen Marie Werner (Steve Steinke), Charles "Chuck" Owen Morrison (Rosemary) and Larry Philip Morrison (Toni). Cherished grandmother of Janelle, Jolene, Charlie, Jared, Jamie and Jenae. Great grandmother of 7. Dear sister of Corinne Joan Sheets and the late Colleen June Stephenoff and Dolores Marie Stuart. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A native of Wadsworth, Ohio. She was active in the PTA (past president), U.S. Navy League and the North Bay Dairy Women. She and her husband operated dairies in Marin and Sonoma Counties from 1952 to 1988. Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Family and friends are also invited to the Funeral Service, Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church, 455 McNear Ave., Petaluma, CA. Interment will follow at Cypress Hill Memorial Park. The family prefer memorials be made to Memorial Hospice, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Visitation
