Tamara P. "Tami" Lewis-Benson - Passed away in Santa Rosa, CA, Saturday, December 10, 2011, beloved wife of Don Benson of Rohnert Park. Loving mother of Keith Benson and Marissa (Michael) Marquez of Petaluma. Cherished grandmother of Haylei Benson. Devoted daughter of Paul and Marlene Lewis of Petaluma. Dear sister of Tracy (Jeanette) Lewis of Yuba City. Beloved granddaughter of the late Heimi and Tillie Ash and Jack and Minnie Lewis. Tami is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. A native of Petaluma, Tami, age 51, graduated from Petaluma High School in 1978 and received her BA from Dominican University. She and her husband own and operate Rivertown Feed and Pet Country Store. She was an avid tennis player and active in several tennis clubs in the area. Tami also raised exotic birds, golden retrievers, volunteered and helped at risk children, particularly in sports and participated in art classes with her friends. Her most cherished activity was being with her family.
