Teresa Maria Sanchez - Died in Petaluma ,CA Aug. 3,2012. Predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years Antonio J. Sanchez. Loving mother of Anita Carlson of Redwood City, Francisco and Paula Sanchez of Petaluma, Adele and Rich Calkin of Petaluma, Roberto and Diane Sanchez of Pleasanton, Fred Sanchez of Danville, and Teresa and Buddy Lex of Hidden Valley Lake. Loving grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Survived by numerous relatives in United States and in her native country El Salvador. Teresa provided child care for numerous children, was a painter, potter, gardener (beautiful roses), seamstress, mason,......to name a few of her many talents. Chef extraordinary, apple pie and meringue cookies were a favorite of the family. She had to hide the meringue cookies before the meal to prevent all of us, 'cookie monsters', from devouring them, grand kids loved trying to find them.
