Teryl Dayton Healy - On March 3, 2011, after nearly three-quarters of a century of earthly love, Teryl Dayton Healy, age 74, gently let go of the hand of her son Kevin and rejoined the company of her beloved husband, CAPT Howard R. Healy, Jr, USN, who predeceased her in 1995. Teryl was a Naval Officerâ??s wife for a nearly 30 year career, before retiring to Sonoma County to be near her parents, Mac and Larry Dayton of Petaluma, who passed in 1992 and 1986 respectively. Terylâ??s father, who many knew as "Baba""" was the US Attorney for Northern California under Presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy. "" Teryl is survived by her two sons, Patrick and Kevin, her three grandchildren, Arron, Sarah, and Daniel, and she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Erin, in 1985. She is also survived by her sister, Laryon Owens and many other relatives and loved ones.
