Passed away at home on January 16 at the age of 90. Born in Fresno to Rev. Ryuchi and Kushino Fujii. Survived by wife Rose of 65 years; daughters Lynn, Carol, Ann, and Doris with respective husbands Grant, Rowland, and Clay; sons Ken and John with respective wives Rachel and Jennifer; grandchildren Ben, Josh, Reid and wife Megan, Kate, Kylie, Quinn, Max, Sarah, Nicholas, and great-grandson Desmond.
During the war, he was interned at Poston, Arizona and Crystal City, Texas where he met Rose. He graduated from UC Berkeley Medical School in 1953. After completing residency, he served in post-war Korea as a Captain in the Army Medical Corp. Upon his return to Sebastopol, he set up a private practice from which he retired after 41 years in 1998.
He was a member of Enman no Tomo, JACL, Enmanji Buddhist Temple, and Sonoma County Medical Association.
He and wife Rose enjoyed traveling and watching their children and grandchildren's many activities.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 24 at 2:00 pm at the Enmanji Temple Memorial Hall.
