Theo Pasvantis, 94, passed away peacefully in his sleep May 4, 2021 at his home in Sebastopol. He was born July 3, 1926 in Montgomery, AL. His parents George and Athena were Greek immigrants from the island of Patmos.
Theo was a veteran of the Navy and Air Force. He moved to Los Angeles at a young age and married JoAnn Pasvantis in the late 1950’s. Together they raised a family. In 1978 he moved to Northern California. In 1980, Theo started a real estate sign company in Sonoma County, which is still running to this day. He was well liked by the community and his business associates.
Preceded in death in 2007 by his wife of 47 years, JoAnn. He is survived by his sons Louis Pasvantis, Mark Pasvantis, and George Pasvantis; grandchildren, Sarah Pasvantis, Zachary Bond, Angela Bond, Casey Bond, Taylor Pasvantis, Christopher Beesley, Morgan Beesley, James Reedy, and Tanner Pasvantis; and twenty great-grandchildren. Also survived by nephew Mark Zarifis, and nieces Cathy Kannellis, Jane Zarifis, and Sandy Knight. He was well-loved by his family and will be sorely missed. Private services have been held.
