Thomas Edward Mccarthy

Age 87, of Sebastopol passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013. Beloved husband of Joyce Reilly McCarthy for 35 years until her passing in 1987. Remarried in 1989 to Gloria Adair McCarthy, they remained together until her passing in 2012. He served in US Army Air Corp in the Solomon Islands during World War II. A graduate of Northwestern University, he served as staff correspondent to for the Wall Street Journal until 1958. He had a successful career in Public Relations retiring in 1986 as Vice President of Public Affairs for GT&E. He is survived by his three children Sharon, Lisa, and Tom Jr., and his step children Gael, Patrick. Stephanie, Lynn and Earl as well as 23 grandchildren/great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass, Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma, CA.
