(Eric-Jan) Schmidt of Concord, MA. Adored grandfather of Isabelle Schmidt, Grace Kirby, Julia Schmidt and Ethan Kirby. Loving brother of Maureen McCarthy of Santa Rosa, CA, Daniel McCarthy of Fair Oaks, CA and Pat Hall of Santa Rosa, CA. Also survived by his sister-in-law; Sue Hastreiter of Spencerport, NY, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A native of Rochester, NY, age 72 years. Thomas is preceded in death by his beloved wife of forty-two years, Clara. Thomas was a parishioner of Resurrection Parish, the Cathedral of St. Eugene"s and St. Rose Catholic Church.
