Tim Miller

Tim Miller - A native of Petaluma, Tim Miller has gone to be with God after a ten year battle with cancer. Tim was 76 years old. He attended St. Vincentâ??s Schools and graduated in 1950. Shortly after graduation, he met Linda Matteucci of San Francisco and they were married in St. Vincentâ??s Church in 1952. Besides his loving wife of 55 years, Tim leaves three children, Kathleen Buttner (Larry) and Dan Miller of Petaluma and Lori Theriault (David) of Piedmont. Two grandchildren, Brittany and Nolan Buttner. Tim was a meat cutter for 43 years and had his own shop for a short time. He served in the Army Reserves for six years. He was active in the St. Vincent Fatherâ??s Club, belonged to many bowling teams and enjoyed life to the fullest. In 1981 Tim and Linda moved to Nevada City for 22 years where they enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing horseshoes with their neighbors and friends. They returned to Petaluma in 2003 due to Timâ??s health to be near the family. He was a parishioner of St. James Church. Even at the end, Tim never lost his sense of humor. At his request there will be no services. His family is planning a celebration of his life in the near future.
