Timothy Egan - Passed away in San Rafael on August 22, 2012 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Imelda Egan of Sonoma. Loving father of Patrick (late Judy) Egan of Napa, Brian Egan also of Napa, Ellen (Steve) Nash of Petaluma, Sean Egan of Redwood Shores, and the late Michael Egan. Doting grandfather of Brendon (Melissa) Egan, Steven (Vickie) Nash, II, Matthew Nash, and Angela Egan. Dear great-grandfather of Steven Nash, III and Dillon Egan. Survived by numerous relatives in Ireland. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA. Private Inurnment: Saint Francis Solano Catholic Cemetery, Sonoma. Born, reared and educated in County Kerry, Ireland Tim immigrated to America when he was 19 years old. During the Korean Conflict he joined the US Air Force and worked as a mechanic on the first B29â??s. He worked at AT&T for over 26 years mostly in Marin County. After his retirement in 1979 he founded Egan Electronics in San Rafael and later co-founded Kerry Telephones in Sonoma Co.
