On October 30, 2024, Tyler Arrington Underwood lost his life unexpectedly leaving behind deeply grieving family and friends. Tyler was born on February 9, 1986, to Cheryl and William Underwood of Cotati.
Loving husband to Rosie and proud father of Jagger, Zoey and Scott Cargile, Jr. He will be missed by his sister, Ashley Arlene Underwood, aunts and uncles Gary Wilson (Evelyn), Linda Hanners, Lorene Timko (Tom) and Jolene Portelli (Frank) and his many cousins.
Tyler is predeceased by his grandparents, Mary and Billy Bob Underwood and Shirley and Clifford (“Rusty”) Wilson.
Tyler’s kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew him. His friends and family remember him as a sweet and charming soul with a wicked sense of humor. Anecdotes from loved ones capture his love for life and the positive impact he had on those around him more than he ever knew.
Being a country boy at heart, besides his big truck with the train whistle, Tyler loved the outdoors, camping and being on the water in a boat or on a jet ski. Tinkering in his spare time gave him joy and he could fix anything. Tyler sure loved hot sauce, so much that he and his friends would buy crazy bottles of hot sauce to share and trade.
He joined his father in the family construction business where he became very skilled at electrical work. Proud of his local heritage, he often spoke fondly of learning to drive a truck and farming hay with his Grandpa Underwood.
Endlessly patient, Tyler would take the time to teach what he knew as long as you wanted to learn. Willing to drop without hesitation for anyone who needed help, he will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
But most of all, he was a loving husband and father to his wife and children. He would do anything they needed. He was their backbone. Their everything.
