Valentina Garzoli Magers

Passed away at home in Petaluma, CA, December 13, 2016, wife of the late Gerald L. Magers. Beloved mother of Geraldine Magers and Lora Lee Grutkowski (Gary). Daughter of the late Ester Luchessa Garzoli and Enio V. Garzoli, Sr. Preceded in death by her brothers Fulvio Garzoli and Enio V. Garzoli, Jr. She is survived by her sister-in-law Patricia Garzoli and nieces and nephews; Jonathan Garzoli (Linda), Dianne Madsen (Tim), Michele Garzoli-Brown (Jeff), Lynn Garzoli, Cathie Lopez (Rob), Ed Terribilini (Bonnie) and Dr. Casey Terribilini (Sandy). Preceded in death by nephews, Jeff Garzoli and David Garzoli. Also survived by grandnieces, grandnephews and dear cousins and friends here and in Switzerland. A native of Cotati, CA. Age 93 years. Valentina , a member of the pioneer Garzoli, Genazzi, and Luchessa families was born, reared and educated in Sonoma County, graduating from Petaluma High School in 1941. She attended Luther Burbank College of Commerce and worked for several years in law offices in Santa Rosa, last working part time with the local firm of Behrens, Nelson & Knudson in Petaluma. Visitation will be held Monday, December 19, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. The Vigil Service will be held at 4:00 pm at the mortuary. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 1:00 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma, CA. Interment, Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. The family prefer memorials be made to Hanna Boys Center. Vigil Service
