Vennie Rosenthal Flocchini - Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family in Petaluma, CA, June 26, 2010, beloved wife of 39 years of Jim Flocchini and the late George Rosenthal. Adored mother of Del (Carole) Rosenthal, Jerry (Laura) Rosenthal, Donna (Tom) Brians and the late David Andrew Rosenthal. Step mother of James (Lisa) Flocchini and Joe Flocchini. Cherished grandmother of Jeff, Greg, Jodi, Ryan, Angela, Maria, Teresa, Michele, Debra, Lisa and Luca. Dear sister-in-law of Nick Flocchini, Lenna Henning, Anna Flocchini and Andy (Patty) Flocchini. Preceded in death by her father, David Newton Rhodes, her mother, Mary Susie Cagle, her step mother Edna Rhodes, brothers, Charlie, Carson, and Julius Rhodes. Survived by a stepsister, Lorraine Walker. Also survived by 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN. Interment will follow at Cypress Hill Memorial Park. The family prefers memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952. A native of Hulbert, OK. Age 88 years.
