Walter A. "Wally" Tognalda

Passed away January 1, 2015 in Petaluma, CA after a long illness. Beloved husband of Barbara (Bradley) Tognalda. Loving father of Julie (Tognalda) Wagner. Brother of Joseph Tognalda and Eleanor (Tognalda) Facendini. Uncle of Antonio Facendini. Son of the late Joseph and Emilia Tognalda. A native of Nicasio, CA. Age 72 years. A member of St. Vincent de Paul Church and NSGW, Nicasio Parlor #183. He was a cattle rancher, an avid hunter and fisherman and the best sausage maker. One of the nicest, sweetest men you'd ever want to know. He had a kind and gentle soul and loved by all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Liturgy, Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11:00 am at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. There will be a reception after the service to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, the family prefer memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma or your favorite charity.
