Ward R. Johnson

Dr. Ward R. Johnson - Dr. Ward Johnson passed away peacefully in Sonoma on Oct. 7, 2009. Survived by his wife of 68 years; Nina Johnson and his sons; David Johnson and Richard T. Johnson and his wife Joan. Grandfather of Michael (Mary) Johnson, Angela (John) Hinds, Jennifer (James) Grossi, David Johnson and great-grandfather of 8. Brother of Richard Johnson and the late Donna Mc Gregor and Millet Genetti. As per his request, there will not be a service. Ward was born to Ester and Ebbe Johnson in Channing, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University and the University of Michigan Medical School. He went on to specialize in Anesthesia and he met a cute nurse by the name of Nina Miller who became his wife. He started his career as a doctor in the Air Force during World War II.
