Wayne Eugene Musser

Wayne Eugene Musser - Longtime Petaluma resident, passed away suddenly September 24, 2009 at the age of 91. For 66 years the beloved husband of Roberta Musser. Loving father of Gene (Gloria) and Jon Musser, Anne Schroeder (Jim) and Janet Govan (Dennis). Loving grandfather of Daniel and Scott Musser, Andy (Jeanne) and Chris (Elizabeth) Schroeder, and Eric and Mark Govan. Loving great-grandfather of Jonny Musser, Silas and Jane Schroeder. Dear brother of Myrtle Miller. Preceded in death by loving sisters Olive Reed, Blanche Martin & Vada Musser Reiff. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Wayne was a native of Nappanee, Indiana, and moved to sunny California in 1944. He practiced optometry locally for 45 years. He was a long time member of Petaluma Golf & Country Club, United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star (past Worthy Patron), and SIRS. He enjoyed golf, music, international cruising, bridge, swimming & bicycling. Maui & Palm Desert were favorite destinations. All who knew him admired his positive outlook, intelligence & enthusiasm.
