Wayne Robert Stalder

Wayne Stalder, 53, much treasured husband of Deena and much loved father of Mason, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. Wayne lived with his adored wife, Deena, and amazing son, Mason in Rohnert Park, CA, and grew up in Penngrove, CA. He was the love of Deena's life and the most engaged father anyone could want as Mason was the light of his life. He will be dearly missed by Deena, Mason, his Mother, Bambi Stalder, siblings Suzanne (Jeff), Patrick (Michelle), and Norman (Susan), nephews Nick (Haley) and Ryan, in-laws Lee and Lynne Thompson, brother-in-law Todd (Sarah), niece Jordan and innumerable extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Armin and brother, Johnny. Wayne worked hard and played hard. He loved harder! He was a cabinet-maker, a true craftsman, from a young age, ultimately owning his own, successful business. He was an avid outdoorsman, including camping, white water rafting, water skiing, kayaking, backpacking, and fishing. He coordinated countless adventures, especially trips to his family's property at the ocean. Wayne had a way of making everyone comfortable and feel as if they were the most important person in the room. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sally Tomatoes in Rohnert Park on 11/30/18, from 7-10pm. The family requests everyone dress in cheerful colors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Nature Conservancy, or the Leukemia Research Foundation in memory of Wayne's brother Johnny.
