Wesley Allen Campigli

WESLEY CAMPIGLI passed away on July 18, 2013 at age 68 in Auburn, CA surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 25, 1945 in Santa Rosa to Alfred Marion Campigli and Florence Elizabeth Crayne. Wesley is survived by his children Angela Dodge (Danny Young) of OR, Paul Campigli and his wife Rachele of Petaluma, Sheilla Campigli (Joe Messoria) of Rohnert Park and his sister Mary Alice Gamboni of Oakland. Wesley will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Charles Johnson, Steven Johnson, Matthew Campigli, Adam Campigli, Kaylee Walsh, Sara Walsh, Zoey Messoria and Mason Messoria. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Florence; his brother Edward Campigli. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Wesley grew up in Olema and had a passion for firefighting. He became an active FFIC- Firefighter in the early 1970s which evolved into a lieutenant and then onto a Captain with the Marin County Fire Department. He retired in the 1990s after serving 20 years as a firefighter. Wesley enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting deer and being outdoors. Wesley will be remembered for his loving heart and hilarious personality. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM at the Mortuary. Private Inurnment: Olema Cemetery, Olema.
