Wesley M. Harper - Passed away on June 8, 2008 in Santa Rosa. Devoted husband of Margaret Harper of Petaluma. Adored father of Nancy Smith (Tom) of Grayeagle, Robert Wesley Harper (Katherine) of Willits, and Kathleen Clara Phillips (Paul) of Santa Rosa. Cherished grandfather of 7, great-grandfather of 9, and great-great-grandfather of 2. Beloved son of the late Clara and Jesse Harper. Loving brother of the late Lorna Miller, Harriet Zuraff, Norma Feldman, and Glee Williams. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and his constant companion, Benji. Age: 83 years. Wesley was born, reared, and educated in Kansas, but has lived in Sonoma County for over 40 years. A sportsman, he enjoyed playing high school football. During WWII, he served in the Army Air Corps. Wesley worked as a plastering contractor for 40 years in Sonoma and Marin Counties. After his retirement, he took up farming as a hobby, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
