William A. Bell

Bill Bell of Petaluma, passed on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Petaluma Valley Hospital. Bill was born in Santa Rosa, April 3, 1961. He graduated from Petaluma High, attended Sacramento State and graduated from Sonoma State University. Bill managed Bell Liquors in Healdsburg, worked at Friedman's Hardware and most recently had a career at the U.S. Post Office for the past 14 years in Santa Rosa. He was predeceased by his Mom, Pierrette Bell and is survived by his Dad, William P. Bell. Survived by sister, Karen Van Patten (Bruce) and niece, Emma and nephew Jonathan; sister Debbie Tomasetti (James), and nieces, Ally and Megan; and cats, Sophie and Blackie. Bill was a big fan of the Oakland Raiders, A's, hot rods and air shows. He enjoyed fishing, fantasy football, crab feeds and nights out on the town with good friends. He was always available for good "grub" or a walk on the beach. Bill will be remembered as a kind and caring person with an open mind and pure heart. Billy will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
