William J. "Bill" Bonomi

WILLIAM J. "BILL" BONOMI passed away on September 22, 2015 in Petaluma at age 87. Devoted husband of Stella E. "Babe" Bonomi of Petaluma. Cherished father of Barbara Evans (Bruce) and Sandra Lombardi all of Petaluma. Adored grandfather of Crystal Evans and Starr Evans-Carroll. Beloved great-grandfather of Cody Evans. Loving brother of Louie Bonomi and the late Albert Bonomi and Alfred Bonomi. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was born, reared and educated in Petaluma and served in the US Army during World War II. Throughout his working career, he was employed by various companies, including Maddalena's Dairy Equipment and Kresky Manufacturing. He finally retired from Stero Dishwashing Company in 1990. Bill was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Druids Harmony Grove 38, Teamsters Local 624, Machinist Lodge 1596, and Marin-Sonoma Italian Club. In his spare time, Bill also liked to collect antiques. Above all, he loved his family. He was a wonderful man; he will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice by the Bay, 17 E.
