WILLIAM S. BROTMAN passed away on December 20, 2016 in San Rafael at the age of 92 years. Devoted husband of Beverly Brotman of Petaluma. Cherished father of Nancy Ellen Brotman (Ken Zamvil) of Windsor and the late Cary Brotman. Loving brother of the late Sam and Irving Brotman. Dear brother-in-law of Bernice Rosenfeld of NV. Adored uncle of Neil Levy (Sandra) and family and Barbara Levy.
Bill was born, reared and educated in Brooklyn, NY. During WWII, he enlisted in the US Navy and proudly served his country, from 1942 to 1946, as a Pharmacist's Mate First Class in a hospital in Guam. In 1950, he married the love of his life, Beverly, and together they enjoyed 66 years of marriage. Bill and his family owned and operated Dodge City Amusement in Petaluma for 22 years. In his spare time, he loved to travel, cruise and cook. He was also an active member of the VFW Petaluma Post #1929, of which he served as chaplain for several years, as well as a 40 year member of the 7-11 Lions Club. Above all, Bill loved his family. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service, Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11:00 am at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.
