William Fredric Bunger

William Fredric Bunger - William (Bill) Bunger, died peacefully on June 12, 2010 at home following a long illness at the age of 82 years. Survived by his beloved wife Mary of 55 years, his children, Teresa (Dan) Mountford, William, Jr. (Evelyn) Bunger, Robert (Kathy) Bunger, and grandchildren, Kirsten, Christopher, Jeffrey, Ryan and Steven, and sister Betty Nissen. Preceded in death by his son Michael Bunger. Family and friends may visit Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma Friday, June 18 at 11:00 a.m. Burial following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions in his memory be made to Memorial Hospice, 821 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95401. Born October 5, 1927 to Fred and Elisabeth Bunger. A graduate of Kingsburg High School and UC Berkeley. He served in the U.S. Army. Long time insurance executive with Hartford Insurance Company.
