William Glenn Canada

Son to Kenneth James and Wanda Elizabeth (Fry) Canada, brother to Sharon Elizabeth Canada Small and Robert James Canada. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Constance Conte Canada. He was father to Natalie Allen (Kevin), Jim Canada, Joe Canada, Gary Conte, John Conte. Grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of eight. He graduated from Logansport High School, IN, and served in the Marines (1957-1963) as auto mechanic and Chaplin’s assistant. He worked at the Press Democrat for over 32 years. He volunteered serving the poor through St. Vincent de Paul. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, telling funny stories, and spending time with his family. The love of his life was Connie Conte Canada who he met 39 years ago on Valentine’s Day. He will be loved and missed forever. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 am at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Mortuary. Interment: Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma. Visitation
