WILLIAM DeMORALES, born December 4, 1925, in Na'alehu, HI; passed away December 12, 2014, due to complications from a broken hip.
He graduated from St. Louis High School in Honolulu in 1945. He was drafted in the US Army and served briefly during WWII. He married Mona Martin, also from HI, in Sebastopol in 1950. They had three children: Michael (deceased), Kathy and James.
He went to work in the office at Hunt & Behrens in 1952, where he continued working until he retired 46 years later.
He is preceded in death by six of eight siblings; two brothers, Albert and George, are still living. He enjoyed traveling and visiting his brothers and sisters in HI, and other parts of the country.
One can say he lived a very full and happy life, and offered love and kindness to all whose lives he touched. He will be extremely missed, but will live on in our hearts through the fond memories, which will never be forgotten.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Entombment: Calvary Cemetery, Petaluma.
