William Jack Elich

William Jack Elich - William Jack Elich, Sr. was born February 14, 1922 in Los Angeles, California to Yugoslavian immigrants Nick and Frances Elich. He attended Garfield High School, Loyola College and USC, and joined the US Navy the day after the Pearl Harbor attack. He trained in Submarine duty and served in Special Forces on a L.S.T. Destroyer for 4 years. He was trained as a "Frog Man"
