Born July 16, 1943, in Chicago, IL. He was one of nine children. He is survived by his precious bride, Pat Wasik, his son Chris Wasik (wife Erika) daughter Wendy Wasik, a granddaughter Arya Wasik and other extended family. Bill proudly served his country and retired a Command Sergeant Major after 27 years in the Army. He worked for PG&E and retired after 46 years.
Bill loved woodworking with a specialty in holiday yard art. He was an avid fisherman, and shark at the card table. After battling cancer, he died peacefully at home with his family by his side.
A Rosary will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 6pm at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 11 am at St. James Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Pkwy, Petaluma, CA. Following Mass, Military Honors will be conducted at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 304 Magnolia Avenue, Petaluma, CA. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
