William L. Rodgers

William L. "Bill" Rodgers - Passed away on October 8, 2007 in Santa Rosa. Devoted husband of Marian Rodgers of Santa Rosa. Cherished step-father of Bob Wikeen of CO, Chris Wikeen (Marcia) of Monte Rio, Nancy Miles of San Bruno, and Sharon Prosser (Ty) of WA. Beloved grandfather of Steven Wikeen, Jenna Wikeen, Meghan McGuire, John, Jack, and James Copello, and Eric and Charlie Prosser. Survived by his dear friend David Lindberg as well as numerous other friends. Age: 72 years. Bill was born, reared and educated in San Jose, graduating from San Jose State University with a BA in accounting. He was very proud of playing minor league baseball in San Jose. In 1957, he enlisted in the US Army. Bill worked for Levi Strauss as a salesman for 20 years and later worked for Patrick James and Macyâ??s. Loving to play golf, he also worked part-time for 7 years at the Fountain Grove Golf Club. Bill also enjoyed RV-ing all over California, being a founding father of the Jack Ass RV Club. He was a Past Exalted Ruler of Petaluma Lodge B.P.O.E. 901 as well as Past District Deputy. Friends and family are invited to attend the Elks Services, Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 12:00 Noon, at the Elks Lodge, 2105 S. McDowell Blvd., Petaluma.
