Willie "Bill" Mancill

Willie "Bill" Mancill passed away on July 26, 2016 at his home in Petaluma with his family at his side. Mr. Mancill was born on November 1, 1928 to Elliot and Cora Mancill. Devoted husband of 63 years to Marjory Mancill. Beloved father of Theresa Cates (Allan), David Mancill (Mary), and Keith Mancill (Julie). Adoring grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 14. Beloved brother of Gerald and Glenn Mancill and preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family moved to Petaluma 53 years ago and have called it home ever since. Mr. Mancill was a veteran of the Korean War, proudly serving in the United States Airforce. He was an elder and lifelong member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Mancill was 87 years of age. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA. A Visitation will be held at the mortuary on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. Burial with full military honors will take place at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma, CA.
