Winifred Rochford

Winifred Rochford - Surrounded by her family, Una entered into rest peacefully June 18, 2009 at home in Santa Rosa. Born in Ballinrobe, Ireland (County Mayo), June 14, 1924, she came to America by herself on January 1, 1948 at age 23. She later moved to San Francisco, where she met her husband, Calvin Walton. Together they raised five children moving to Sonoma County in 1964. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Una at St. Rose Catholic Church, 398 10th St., Santa Rosa, CA, Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. A celebration of her life will be held afterward at the clubhouse of Coddingtown Mobile Estates, 801 Piner Rd., Santa Rosa, CA. Donations in her name may be made to Memorial Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
