Carol Elizabeth Norton

It is with great sadness to report the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Carol Elizabeth Norton, aged 85. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was the wife of the late Arthur Leroy Norton, Sr.; mother of Arthur Leroy Norton, Jr. and Mark Alan Norton, Sr.; mother-in-law of Carol J. Norton and Sheri L. Norton; grandmother of Lee, Chris, Mark Jr., Matthew and Michael Norton; great-grandmother of Lucky and Adam Norton; aunt of Donny Stevens and wife Betsy, and survived by many other Stevens's relatives in Georgia. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 12, 1931 and lived in Petaluma for all of her adult life; she was a homemaker. She took great pride in her home in which she lived for many years. She loved gardening, reading, and her four legged companion "Chester" the fat cat. She was a great cook! She made the best chocolate chip cookies in town and her family's favorite was the "booze" cake that she made from time to time. She will be greatly missed. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA 94952.
