John C. Mohrman

John Mohrman passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 1, 2023. He was 84 years old. John is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Anna Mae, and their children, April Derby (Mike), Chris Mohrman (Cheryl), and Jennifer Rowen (Marc), seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. 

John was born on September 14, 1938, in Del Norte, Colorado. Preceded in death by his parents, Dr. John and Myrna Mohrman, and his sister Carol Mohrman.  In 1959, he married Anna Mae Brattin, his high school sweetheart. In 1960 John proudly graduated from College of the Pacific.  John and Anna Mae settled in Petaluma, where John enjoyed a successful career as a CPA as a partner of Smith, Mohrman, Dado, and MacKenzie.

John loved life and throughout the years pursued many interests and hobbies including golf, tennis, sailing, music, photography, and travel. After retirement, he enjoyed sharing his time between Petaluma and Palm Desert. There he enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends. 

John was a loyal and proud family man. He was beloved by his large family and will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am on August 11, 2023, at Parent-Sorensen Funeral Home, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, California.
