Marcella Hagan Jobson

Marcella Hagan Jobson died peacefully in her treasured home in Forestville, CA on December 27, 2023. Marcella was born on April 4, 1930 in San Francisco to Bernard Hagan and Marcella McGee. Marcella grew up in San Francisco with her three siblings: Bernard, William and Rosanne. She was a longtime employee of Hibernia Bank in San Francisco where she broke the glass ceiling by becoming the first woman manager and vice president at the bank.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Robert W. Jobson. Marcella loved to dance so when she met Robert at a Guerneville, CA night spot and he asked her to dance, she knew she had found her life’s companion. They were married for over 40 years and thoroughly enjoyed discovering the world together on many cruises. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews of the Hagan and Bertuccelli families. Marcella had the unique ability of turning her caregivers and neighbors into valued friends. She will be deeply missed by all of us.

There will be a Rosary and Mass on Wednesday, January 24th at 10:30 am at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church, 7983 Covert Lane, Sebastopol, CA. Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 2930 Bennett Valley Rd., Santa Rosa, CA. Marcella loved flowers and bouquets are appreciated to send her on her latest journey.
