Patricia C. Moore

Patricia C. Moore, “Patti”, went to her heavenly home on April 8, 2023, after suffering from complications due to an infection. She was 80 years old. It would be wrong to say that Patti lost her battle to an infection, but the truth is, she never stopped fighting. When anyone else would have broken, she stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.

Patti was the devoted wife of the late James “Jim” Moore (preceded in death on March 07, 2007). Adored daughter of the late Howard and Bertha Buckett. Dear sister to the late Steven Buckett. Cherished mother of Forrest James Moore and his spouse Andrea Moore, and Lisa Diane Moore and her spouse Craig Silva. Devoted grandmother to Cori Rae Talafili, Devon James Moore, and Kendall Rose Moore. Great-grandmother to Emelia Therese Moore.

Patti was born on September 4, 1942, in Stockton, CA. She was adopted by the late John Howard Buckett and Bertha Rose Buckett. Patti was raised and educated in Petaluma, CA. She attended Petaluma High School, graduating in 1960. After high school Patti moved to San Francisco where she met her loving husband, James “Jim” Moore. They married in 1965 and together they shared 42 years of marriage. Together they both enjoyed traveling, whether it was a long road trip or a nice, relaxing cruise. After the passing of her husband, Patti continued to share her love of travel by taking her family on trips, the most recent being a trip to Hawaii in September of 2022. She enjoyed buying gifts for family and friends while on her adventures.

Patti was a very devoted, thoughtful, and giving, mother, grandmother, and friend. She treasured spending time with her family and friends; especially going out for a good meal. Patti also took great pleasure in shopping.

To all those who knew and loved her, she will be missed tremendously.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 3, 2023, at 1:00 pm at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 905 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa, CA.
