In Loving Memory of Rita Marie Trujillo

Rita passed on July 2, 2023. Born in Sonoma County, Rita lived a life defined by love, strength, and determination. 

Rita was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Jeannina Whiting Trujillo. She leaves behind her cherished son, Josh, who was the center of her universe. Rita’s memory will forever be cherished by her father, Samuel “Rudy,” her brother Tony, his wife Ashley, nephews Waylon and Reno, family and friends.

Strength, grit, and an indomitable spirit were the defining traits of Rita’s life. She fearlessly embraced each day, finding joy in pursuits such as skydiving, her love for horses, and her deep connection with animals and nature. Rita’s capacity for love knew no limits as she dedicated herself as a devoted mother to Josh and a loving companion to her fur baby, Nugget.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Rita’s remarkable life at a special gathering on Sunday, August 13th at 11:30 am. The gathering will be held at Gambonini Family Ranch, located at 7325 Old Lakeville Road No. 3, Petaluma, CA 94954.
