In 2004, Buzz Rodgers retired after 45 years in the funeral industry. He turned over his share to his daughter, Andrea L. Rodgers. Later in 2004 James Gotelli joined the partnership. In 2022 a shift in leadership came as both Andrea L. Rodgers and James Gotelli had moved onto other interests. Daniel Tellez became co-owner with the resilient James Smith.

From its very modest beginnings in the mid-19th century, Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory continues to serve Sonoma and Marin Communities. In its more than 160 year history, it has been an absolute privileged to serve numerous generations thoughtfully and efficiently.
